Jeremy Rimbaud, a 34-year-old convict who killed a farmer in 2011 and cooked his heart and tongue, briefly escaped from a psychiatric ward Wednesday where he was jailed and assaulted by a woman who was walking with her dog in Toulouse, France. Local media.
The attack took place around 10pm and Rimbat was briefly detained to take him to the center where he was staying.
A source close to the case told the Daily Mirror that the woman was “completely scared”.
“He stabbed her in the back of the head, then struck her with a stick, and those nearby intervened and chased her. She was then informed that she had been attacked by a cannibalism known to her,” the statement explained.

The man committed the crime in November 2011, just months after returning from Afghanistan to fight the Taliban. After killing Petapita, Rimbaud cut out his tongue and part of his heart and then cooked them with white beans.
He later became known as the ‘Cannibalism of the Pyrenees’ and was sentenced to life imprisonment.
